Hey Ghosties and Ghoulies!
The latest installment of the Halloween franchise came out last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. No spoilers but there were nods to the other Halloween classics and plenty of creative gore scenes with the man himself Michael Myers. I love Halloween 1978 and I really enjoyed Halloween 2018. This did not disappoint me at all. I am excited for more.
You can stream the movie on Peacock or see it at my favorite theater, Cinema Salem! Cinema Salem has some amazing content right now, and Halloween Kills is on the list. We had the pleasure of going to the advance screening of Halloween in 2018 thanks to Salem Horror Fest at Cinema Salem. It was a blast.
Cinema Salem is having Creature Features and Classic Monster Movies all month long. Movies include classics like Creature from the Black Lagoon, Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, Dracula (Lugosi), Frankenstein (Karloff) peppered with more recent classics like Halloween (1978). For any friends heading to Salem... There is a new restaurant, The Crypt, starting up that has a horror theme. Right now they are a Pop Up. Today, The Crypt will be at CinemaSalem from 11-8. The Crypt will be serving the Damian Maffei-letta burger (from the movie The Haunt on Shudder). They will also have another sandwich that has been popular called The Winifred Sanderson named after a character from Hocus Pocus. To say this turkey sandwich has my ultimate favorite things all together is an understatement. Thanksgiving sandwiches are my kryptonite. I can't wait to try it. The Winifred has turkey breast with stuffing, herbed cranberry sauce and fried granny smith apples all on sour dough. Yes....along with with gravy dipping sauce.
